PricingBrief Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-06-04 Last updated: 2026-06-04

1. What PricingBrief is

PricingBrief is a free email newsletter that summarizes week-over-week changes to the public pricing pages of widely used SaaS vendors. Each issue groups changes by vendor and links to the public pricing page the change was observed on, so a reader can verify any claim against the vendor's own source.

If PricingBrief later offers a paid tier, that tier may provide the same digest filtered to a customer-supplied list of vendors the customer wants to track.

2. What PricingBrief is not

PricingBrief is provided for informational purposes only. In particular, the Service:

3. Who may use the Service

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. The Service is intended for business, procurement, finance, operations, and SaaS-watch readers. It is not directed at children.

4. Subscription and unsubscribe

The free newsletter is free. By subscribing, you consent to receive the weekly digest, confirmation messages, welcome messages, and subscription-management messages at the email address you provided.

You may unsubscribe at any time and for any reason by:

  1. Clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any issue.
  2. Using your mail client's one-click unsubscribe button when shown.
  3. Emailing unsubscribe@pricingbrief.com from the subscribed address.

We honor opt-outs promptly and in any event within ten (10) business days. We do not re-add unsubscribed addresses unless you explicitly opt back in through the subscription form.

5. Acceptable use

You may forward issues, quote excerpts with attribution, and link to PricingBrief from elsewhere. You may not:

6. Vendor content and trademarks

Vendor names, logos, trademarks, pricing-page content, and linked source pages belong to the respective vendors. PricingBrief uses vendor names and limited excerpts for reporting, commentary, comparison, and citation of observed public pricing-page changes. The presence of a vendor in an issue is not an endorsement of that vendor, nor a claim that the vendor endorses PricingBrief.

If you are a vendor and believe a specific issue misstates a change on your pricing page, email corrections@pricingbrief.com with the issue date, vendor name, relevant source page, and corrected information. We will investigate and publish a correction in the next issue if the original was wrong.

7. Intellectual property

The compiled digest, including editorial selection, summaries, commentary, formatting, and issue structure, is owned by the PricingBrief operator, except for vendor content quoted or referenced for reporting and citation. All rights are reserved except for ordinary forwarding, linking, and excerpt quotation with attribution as allowed by these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY PRICING-CHANGE SUMMARY IS CORRECT, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL PRICINGBRIEF OR ITS OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Because the free newsletter is provided without charge, PricingBrief's total aggregate liability to any free-tier reader for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). For paid customers, if a paid tier launches, the aggregate cap will be the amount paid to PricingBrief in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Changes to the Service or these Terms

PricingBrief is a young product, and the Service and these Terms may change. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we change the Terms. Material changes will also be announced in the next issue of the newsletter. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We may discontinue, pause, or alter the Service at any time.

The current version of these Terms always lives at https://pricingbrief.com/terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your subscription at any time by unsubscribing.

We may suspend or remove your subscription if you violate these Terms, if your address persistently bounces, if your mail provider reports a complaint, or if continuing to send mail would create legal, deliverability, or security risk.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the applicable law of the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that cannot be waived by contract.

Before filing a formal claim, email legal@pricingbrief.com with a description of the dispute and the relief requested so the parties can try to resolve it informally.
